The Tech4Good at Titans of Tech panel will evidently focus on how technology can transform society and our communities in positive ways. For me, technology is certainly not an end in itself. Challenges and opportunities certainly characterize the digital age. The burning question, however, has always been: how can technological advancements be harnessed for the greater good? Technology matters but it is always about me. This panel will therefore delve into various ways technology can contribute to sustainable development, contribute social good, improve public services, and foster inclusive growth.

My Perspective as an STI Public Policy Advisor
As an STI (Science, Technology, and Innovation) public policy advisor, I am particularly excited to contribute to this Tech4Good at Titans of Tech discussion. I find it interesting exploring the intersection of technology and public policy. In my opinion, strategic policymaking is crucial to facilitating the use and development of technological advancements that benefit society. Obviously, it is not a job for government alone or for one person, or one organization. Indeed, we can create a sustainable and inclusive digital future through collaborative efforts between policymakers, technologists, the tech community and stakeholders. However, do we have the foresight? Do we have will?

I deeply appreciate Don Pedro Aganbi and his dedicated team, particularly for inviting me to be a panelist and for their tireless efforts in organizing this prestigious event for the past two decades. They have pressed forward, regardless of the challenges and obstacles in the environment.
