Telecommunications Resources

Telecommunications is being used globally to bridge the digital divide between the digital "haves" of the developed world and the "have-nots" of the developing world. The world is a global village, but are we all truly members of the village? The digital divide is still quite wide, inspite of rapid developments in technology, there is need connect the developing world with the rest of the digital world.
Affordable and Reliable Access to ICTs are in fact a prerequisite for equity and sustainable development - reducing poverty and creating opportunities for growth.

Nigeria Telecommunications
Surveys conducted by the United Nations, Geneva-based organization, International Telecommunications Union (ITU) rank Nigeria amongst Africa's fastest growing telecommunications market.
The country has "massive" untapped potential in areas such as: long distance communication, broadband internet services, sub marine communications, data communications, digital access networks, billing systems, recharge card manufacturing, backbone infrastructure, fixed and mobile satellite services, among others.
